Peep Show and VTV
Not written for ages now! but that not completely true. I have been doing a lot of technical writing. Still I get a comment that my technical writing is "Informal". I can tell those guys that I learnt writing through blogs that are never read :-) . Anyway life and my studies goes on and on. Peep show and VTV ... that something I wanted to write about. But here is the quote of the week? month ? ... Any way its a good quote
I wish someone would come up with a printer that prints directly on toilet tissue. That way, I'dd be able call some of the documents I review "fit for purpose"
He is a technical architect in UK. I hope u get the context.
After some 18 hours of watching Peep show, I cannot just say that I am a fan of Peep show but Mark and Jez has become a part of me. I think like them. Quite wicked though. (I swear a lot, though I advice my roommate not to). Its a beautiful sketch with two friends who are losers because of each other. Almost every episode ends with the guys turning loser. Is all comedy based on tragedy and about losers? (like Vadivelu). I think its partially true.
I am also thinking of peeping in my blog. Peeping is writing about what actually think. Find my peeps inside [ ].
About the VTV, I was pissed about the director making comments that other directors are not the best. If they are not the best at least they are better than a loser that he is! He make a movie about love in 2010 and they cannot get together because of religion and strict father. Thats stupid. I am angry beacuse he has different endings for tamil amd telugu versions of the same movie. In Tamil the lovers don't get together at the end. I can say that he is racist. How can a same movie have different endings based on the language they speak or region they live. Is love not universal? :-)
So what do I want to say ... Watch Peep show and never watch any upcoming Gowtham Menon movies. [Thats not a bad blog ... a good one ... sexy one ... may be I should get rid of the racist word] More peeps to follow if I get some time.
